The honest answer is a range — the same room can be built at three budget levels depending on camera, audio and display choices. Here are the bands we quote day to day, and what moves a room from one band to the next.

The three cost layers of any room

Every conferencing room is display + AV + control. The display (a commercial screen or interactive panel) is usually the single largest line; the AV layer (camera, microphones, speakers — increasingly one video bar) is second; control and cabling take the rest. Budget bands by room size

  • Huddle room (2-5 people): a 55″-65″ display plus an all-in-one video bar and USB connection. Entry builds start in the low thousands of dirhams; certified Teams/Zoom bars push higher. Webcam-based builds from our budget VC comparison sit lowest.
  • Medium room (6-12 people): 75″ display or interactive panel, mid-tier video bar with speaker tracking, one or two expansion mics. This is the most common corporate build in Dubai.
  • Boardroom (12+): 86″-98″ display or dual screens, PTZ camera or premium bar, ceiling or table mic array, DSP audio and a touch room controller. Cabling, containment and commissioning become real line items here.

Exact figures shift with brand and promotion, which is why we quote per room — but as a planning rule, each step up roughly doubles the AV budget while the display grows by size band.
